Dare to make a difference
Jesus said, ‘Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions, and give alms. Make purses for yourselves that do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.’

Spend a bit of time praying and thinking for yourself about the meaning of these words and how living them might make a difference.
to get you started ...
· What might it mean for you to ‘sell your possessions’ and seek unfailing treasure?
· Is fear the main thing that prevents us living differently?
· Is there something which you could give away or sell (and give away the proceeds) today?
· Choose to live without something central to your life this week and learn from the experience.

Original Comment:Fear and no fear
I love the way JohnGriffiths7 makes his videos to comment on the verse of the day. I seem to be fearful of lots of things, but he just shares himself and his faith and we are all blessed and enriched by it. He seems to be echoing Jesus’s words to me, Do not be afraid, little flock. Thank you John, and thank you God for reassuring me. A purse that does not wear out, indeed.
