Bringing God's peace
As Jesus’ disciples go out into the communities and world around them, the first thing they are to bring is peace.
Questions
· What is peace? Reflect on what peace means in your life, in your family, your community and in the world.
· How do we say “Peace to this house” with our lives as well as our words?
Challenges
· Live today in a way that brings peace to those you meet.
· Do something which brings the world a little nearer to peace.

Jesus also said “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword”. Presumably he was speaking of a different kind of peace. We must be careful when we speak of peace - do we mean an absence of war, or is “peace” a word with many meanings (like “love”)?
