Original Comment:Called to be Peacemakers
Perhaps this is one of the great challenges of the Christian life - bringing peace to those who may not want to recived it. Being a peacemaker means making yourself vulnerable, vulnerable beacuse those with whom we share this peace may not be ready or willing to receive it. Just as Jesus came to share his peace which ultimately led to him being rejected and His death on the cross, so we may find our offer of peace rejected - with what consequences? All we know for certain is that this is God’s will for us as Kingdom people because we know that the peacemakers are blessed by God.
