Listening to Jesus
Three of Jesus’ disciples witness an extraordinary event on a mountain. Jesus external appearance changes to reflect the wonder and light of his inner reality. Today’s verse records the words they heard. God invites them, and us, to know who Jesus is and to listen to his words.

- How do we listen to him today?
- What might that mean in your life?

- Take time today to reflect the difference the words of Jesus have made to your life.
- Pray that through our lives, Jesus’ words will make a difference to our communities.

Original Comment:Listening to Jesus
I am at the moment learning to listen to Jesus, learning how to listen to him, learning to know when he is speaking to me..
Is it when I am wandering around trying to find my way then all of a sudden something happens which I think may be a sign: perhaps it is a song that comes to mind, or a leaflet through the door, an out of the blue phone call from a long lost friend or relative or an advert in the paper. I do not literally hear him “should I”?
