Listening to Jesus
Three of Jesus’ disciples witness an extraordinary event on a mountain. Jesus external appearance changes to reflect the wonder and light of his inner reality. Today’s verse records the words they heard. God invites them, and us, to know who Jesus is and to listen to his words.

- What makes him special, what makes him worth listening to?
- How do we listen to him today?
- What might that mean in your life?
Challenges
- Take time today to reflect the difference the words of Jesus have made to your life.
- Pray that through our lives, Jesus’ words will make a difference to our communities.

Sometimes you can be so wrapped up in trying to solve your problems, you forget to listen to Jesus. Other times you hear what he says but you don’t like it!
I think that listening to Jesus is easier in the context of a home group. It gives me space to be quiet and listen. My friends support me so that I can understand what Jesus wants me to do.
